Service Description

In this Birth Rehearsal Private Session, you will you'll learn techniques and practises to help you feel confident and calm during childbirth so that you can have a more satisfying birth experience. In the session you'll: * Learn prenatal yoga and birth preparation techniques that prepare you physically, mentally, and emotionally for childbirth * Explore breathing and movement techniques to help you labour and birth * Practise for the big day by doing a birth rehearsal with a Prenatal Yoga and Birth Preparation Specialist The 90 minute session will include Prenatal Yoga and Birth Preparation practises, a birth rehearsal and a deep relaxation for you to enjoy with your baby. Rehearsing for childbirth can be incredibly beneficial for mums-to-be. By familiarising yourself with the birthing process, including how to move your body, use your breath and learn strategies for pain management, you can feel more prepared and empowered for the big day. Through practice and education, you can build confidence and reduce anxiety, ultimately leading to a more positive birthing experience Helen will contact you to arrange a 10 - 15 minute consultation with you via Skype or Zoom before your session, so that she can understand your needs, goals and to meet each other before the class. You will also be emailed a Health Screening Form that will need completing prior to your session. This form is so that we can be aware of any health needs you may have that we may need to take account of for the session. Suitable for women from 12 weeks of pregnancy. All classes are taught by a qualified Prenatal Yoga instructor. Online classes use Skype or Zoom. Further joining instructions will be provided upon booking.
